Had the burger with the lot and it was delicious, cheaper than large burger chains and tastier too. Chips were delicious also. Will happily visit again when next in Melbourne

Food is ok but when I ordered I paid cash and when asking for a receipt there was a little hesitation. Then they gave me a receipt for credit payment. I just wanted to make sure I was give the correct change and wasn't over charged, but still they would not give me a cash receipt showing the amount i gave the amount of the order and the change given. Then he got the owner and he is not giving it either. Then he tried to make the excuse that the machine wouldn't allow him to do that. seems a little dodgy

Delicious fish with crispy batter, a huge serve of chips and generous serve of salad, all for $13. Thumbs up :)

The fish and chips was stunning and so was the salad. We had lunch take away on a week day and it just cost us $10. Absolute bargain for delicious treat. We will be back!

Bad attitude of staff. Trying to order fast as I have a dog sitting outside they can clearly see, halfway through getting my order out, the two gentlemen said or more correctly pointed me down the far end… after I was able to pay and wait outside with my dog, when i was summoned inside and asked for a bag to carry my food the least you can do is open the bag and load the food in… Actual food… battered sausage = bad, potato cake = Luke warm… chips = ok. Can’t say I am jazzed about ‘the best fish and chips in st Kilda’
